Department of Psychology, FoHSS organized a seminar on Psychosocial Determinants of Addiction

Department of Psychology, FoHSS has organized an online seminar on Psychosocial Determinants of Addiction. Dr. Joseph Meargher (a consultant in general adult psychiatry) was the guest speaker at this seminar. Dr. Joseph spoke about the legal issues that have been attached to addiction all over the world. He specifically spoke about the US and how the prohibition of Alcohol lead to a drug epidemic afterward. He raised a very pertinent question about the prohibition of drugs and how it leads to crime.
