Guest Lecture on “Rights of Future Generations”

Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences conducted a guest lecture session on “Rights of Future Generations”. The Guest Speaker, Miss Emilie Gillard, is a Scientific Director and General Coordinator of the Chair of the Normandy Chair of Peace, France.

Miss Emilie Gillard focused on lowering the drastic effects of climate change, nuclear destructions, pesticides, and trans-generational damages to secure future generations. She added, “We can protect our future generations from contemporary and upcoming disasters by acting upon the philosophy of disaster that says we need to act before the disaster appears.” She stressed upon the individual efforts regarding the betterment of our environment.

She answered all questions during the Q/As session logically and comprehensively.
