Industrial visit psychology sem 4
Department of Psychology, Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences, UCP organized an industrial visit and trip to Vocational Training Institute and National Special Education Centre, Johar Town, Lahore. The visit was on 30th Mat, 2022. Students studying Social Psychology in semester four were included in the stay.
The purpose of the field trip was to give an insight to students into the actual life manifestation of vocational training for special needs children. The particular need and requirement to ease the life of the children. The aim was to ensure a great learning opportunity, interact and gather information regarding the intellectuals, adaptability and need of the children.
The visit helped students to understand the use of the vocational training and facilities provided for the children, to understand their particular needs, including equipment, learning materials and facilities for children with special needs, To understand the goal of the institution to help these students and their role in helping the children with special needs as a member of the community and a future psychologist.
