Industry Visit of the Walled City of Lahore Authority

The students of Creative Non-Fiction,FoLL  recently embarked on an industry visit to the Walled City of Lahore Authority (WCLA). The purpose of the industry visit was to open a way for literary project-based internships in WCLA, immerse students in the vibrant culture, history, and architecture of the region and to provide inspiration for their writing. The industry visit was organized by Mr. Nohaiz Mehmood (Faculty Industry Liaison Officer, FOLL), Ms. Sarosh Latif (Lecturer, Department of English Literature, FOLL) and Ms. Fatima Urooj (Program Coordinator, FOLL).

The visit of the Walled City of Lahore and its relevant department was a rich and inspiring experience for the students of the Creative Non-Fiction program. They left the city with a greater appreciation for the cultural heritage of the region and a wealth of ideas for their writing. The Deputy Director Tourism Mr. Mubashar welcomed the students of Faculty of Languages and Literature, UCP on Internship programs regarding documentation and also committed to have an MOU with FOLL in future.
