An MoU between UCP and Jinnah Hospital was signed on March 03, 2022, formalizing various avenues of collaboration. Dr. Nassar Ikram, Pro-Rector UCP, and Prof. Dr. Tahir Rashid, MS Jinnah Hospital graced the event. The collaboration emerged as a realization to collectively address the translational challenges and to address the societal issues by both institutions.
UCP houses a dedicated Faculty of Life Sciences encompassing various research domains of Bio-Technology, Bio-Chemistry, Micro-Biology, and Food Sciences. To keep its students abreast of the emerging technologies and the real-world challenges, it has become imperative to join hands with the practitioners across the country. Additionally, the students, researchers, and state-of-the-art research labs at UCP can provide services to the practicing organizations in developing cutting-edge technologies and products. Involvement of the students in case studies and various other activities including the volunteer work by Jinnah Hospital will be further conducive towards their professional development.
UCP is hopeful that the collaboration will soon converge towards fruition and will be extremely beneficial for the students and staff members alike.
