Office of Research, Innovation, and Commercialization (ORIC) organized an interactive session with the Faculty of Information Technology and Computer Science (FoIT&CS) to align faculty expertise with emerging industry needs and collaborative opportunities. Prof. Dr. Hammad Naveed, Pro-Rector; Dr. Muhammad Akhyar Farrukh, Director, ORIC and Research; Dr. Muhammad Amjad Iqbal, Dean FoIT&CS,and faculty members from various disciplines participated in the session. The discussion centered on ensuring that UCP’s academic standards align with industrial demands in areas including web and mobile application development, digital forensics, sensor technologies, cybersecurity, AI-driven analytics, IoT systems, cloud computing, data science, and intelligent automation. Faculty members discussed ongoing research projects and highlighted the potential for developing real-world applications through industry partnerships.
