Seminar on “First Episode of Psychosis”

Department of Psychology in collaboration with Fountain House organized a seminar on “First Episode of Psychosis’ by Dr Salaha Khan on June 26, 2024. This workshop was organized as part of the preparations for the Global Conference on Psychopathology & Rehabilitation (GCPR-24), themed “Wellness: Our Shared Responsibility,” held at UCP on June 26 & 27, 2024.

Dr. Salaha is a licensed clinical and counselling psychologist authorized to provide psychological services to adults in the province of Ontario, Canada. She emphasized on the first episode warning signs in adolescents of Psychosis, key symptoms domains, phases of psychosis, facts about psychosis, causes and treatment for psychosis in detail in this seminar. It provided a platform for students to learn immensely from the expert, followed by question-and-answer session.
