UCP- Business School hosted 4th Entrepreneurship Educators Symposium

The University of Central Punjab (UCP) successfully hosted the 4th Entrepreneurship Educators Symposium in collaboration with Takhleeq Incubation center. The event, held on May 16, 2024, brought together over 50 educators from various universities, making it a landmark gathering in the field of entrepreneurship education in Pakistan organized by the department of Entrepreneurship and management.

The symposium commenced with profound keynote addresses by Dr. Shahid Qureshi, Rector of GIFT University, and Dr. Umar Safdar, Director of Research Innovation and Entrepreneurship from the University of Buraimi. Their insightful presentations set the stage for a day filled with rich discussions and knowledge sharing.

The event was honored by the presence of Prorector Professor Dr. Hadia Awan, whose participation underscored the significance of entrepreneurial education in fostering innovation and economic growth. Her support and encouragement were pivotal in the success of the symposium.

A key highlight of the symposium was the panel discussion featuring esteemed experts Dr. Muhammad Shehryar Shahid, Dr. Saqib Ilyas, and Dr. Sania Zahra Malik and moderated by Dr. Irfan Siddique. The panelists shared their expertise and engaged in meaningful conversations that provided attendees with diverse perspectives on entrepreneurship education.

The Entrepreneurship Course Design and Development Workshop was a focal point of the symposium.  It was led by Dr. Irfan Siddique and co facilitated by Dr. Talha Zubair Ahmad Khan, from the Business School, and Mr. Faizan Khalid, Director of Incubation at Takhleeq Business Incubator, the workshop offered a hands-on learning experience. Participants gained practical tools and strategies to enhance their teaching methodologies, contributing to the advancement of entrepreneurship education.
