UCP-VIS Department Recognized as Volunteering Leader by the Global Network of Volunteer Leadership (GNVL)

The Volunteer in Service Department at the University of Central Punjab has been committed to the promotion of community service since 2007 and has been successful in shaping well-rounded responsible citizens in the form of volunteers. The continuous efforts of the VIS department to sensitize the youth have resulted in the recognition of the department as Volunteering Leader by GNVL.

Global Network of Volunteering Leadership (GNVL) is an international network of volunteering leadership which is open to invitees only. UCP-VIS was invited to join on the recommendation of Nichole Cirillo, Executive Director, International Association for Volunteer Effort (IAVE), USA.

UCP-VIS represented Pakistan on behalf of the University of Central Punjab at the 16th IAVE (International Association for Volunteer Efforts) Conference 2019 and presented the efforts made by UCP and UCP Volunteers for community development. With this productive representation, GNVL announced UCP-VIS as a mentor at international level. International social workers, organizations, and academia members can now benefit from the experience of UCP-VIS through the platform of GNVL.
