Faculty of Arts & Social Sciences conducted Faculty Development Program

Faculty of Arts & Social Sciences conducted week-long Faculty Development Program from 18 – 22 September, 2017. The entire faculty members participated rigorously in the program, which focused on need based training sessions, lectures and discussions. The foremost focus of Faculty Development Program remained on enhancing the effectiveness of classroom teaching-learning practices, and incorporating modern educational and research advancements into mainstream academic environment. Character building and teaching of ethics to students was also an important feature of the session. The program also had productive sessions on how to produce quality research and access digital and library resources more effectually. The renowned field experts and educationists were invited as guest speakers, along with the presenters from within the faculty. The Faculty Development Program was chaired by Prof. Dr. Fehmida Sultana, the Dean, Faculty of Arts & Social Sciences.
