Poster Competition Organized by English Department

A poster competition was organized by the English Department of FASS on 12^th January, 2018 for the enthusiastic and creative students of English Department.  The posters were based on the legendary classic play, Pygmalion by George Bernard Shaw. Participants created versatile posters on various themes depicted in the play. Some took the theme of emancipation of the women while others considered individual vs society and even rising of the poor class. The Dean FASS, Dr. Fehmida Sultana, inaugurated the event. The creative and artistic works of the participants were appreciated and praised by the Dean FASS, faculty members and students of English as well as other departments of the University. Audience poll was organized to select the winner and the runner ups. At the end of the event, the winners were given token of appreciation.
