The Ulrich HR club, UCP organized an event with the name of “How to read HR policies” on 17th June 2019 in the webinar room. The training session/ seminar was conducted By Dr Hadia Awan, Dean of UCP Law Department.
The objectives of this event were to highlight men’s role in designing women friendly policies and contributing further in empowering them at the workplace, make ways to reduce glass ceiling, to guide ladies who leave their job due to workplace harassment by sharing personal experiences of influential women and how an employee should approach the HR department for such a complaint. She defined the best tips to deal with such situations. Dr. Hadia Awan then took questions from the audience to clarify with more detail, the ways a female can tackle such cases.
Moreover, one of the respected guests, Ma’am Ayesha lari also shared her experience being in an organization for 20 years, highlighting the new policies used in the current market.
