UCP organized a seminar at the Ulrich HR Club to highlight the scope of work opportunities in the Pharmaceutical industry of Pakistan for students who are looking for opportunities in the particular field. This seminar included a one on one session with the CEO of Searle Pakistan Limited, Dr. Syed Nadeem Ahmed, who is an active member of Pakistan Pharmaceutical Manufacturers Association (PPMA). During the seminar, he shared his upstream journey from an employee to a CEO of Searle Pakistan Limited and discussed the company’s dynamics in detail. Searle Pakistan Limited at present is operating in 17 countries while the preliminaries in a few more countries of the African region (East and West Africa) are underway for commercialization. Searle has already formed legal entities to expand its global business in Switzerland, Spain, UK, UAE, Malaysia, the Philippines,Vietnam and recently in Belgium.
While discussing his company’s growth and his journey to the top management, he gave some tips to students on how to deal with difficult situations in management. He also discussed the one million job opportunities that are being neglected by our youth and gave them valuable insight and advice to explore those undiscovered opportunities.
