View mapUCP Society of Civil Engineers organized a seminar on “Water Scarcity in Pakistan”.The primary objective of this seminar is to create awareness about the severity of this issue. Our guest speaker was “Dr. Izhar ul Haq (Ex- CEO Diamer Bhasha Dam, President IEP & Life fellow American Society for Civil Engineers).Our Guest speaker spoke on the ground realities and clear the blur image of this issue. He talked about the significance of this dam as Pakistan ranks third in the world among countries facing acute water shortage and this dam is the need of hour. He also mentioned that if we will not work on this project then Pakistan will reach absolute water scarcity by 2025.
Later Dr. Izhar ul Haq was presented with souvenir for sharing his knowledge and facts with our students.
