The UCP Executive MBA (UCP-EMBA) program has been specially designed to cater to the needs of mid-career to top-level managers, seasoned professionals, and entrepreneurs who want to equip themselves with cutting-edge business knowledge to face emerging challenges while remaining fully employed during the pursuit of their graduate studies. This programme challenges you to think critically to enhance your effectiveness personally and professionally, developing the skills and understanding required to operate in a complex global business environment. Teaching is informed by globally recognised research and led by academics with industry experience. Executive MBA
- The curriculum comprises of 60 credit hours, distributed as follows:
- Compulsory courses (42 credit hours): Executive MBA programs often admission to students from a wide range of industries and backgrounds. Compulsory courses help level the playing field and ensure that all students develop comprehensive business knowledge.
- Elective courses (12 credit hours): The purpose of offering elective courses is to provide students with the opportunity to customize their education, tailor their learning experience to meet their specific career goals and interests, and enhance their expertise in areas that are most relevant to their professional development. Four elective domains are offered to students including:
- Marketing
- Finance
- Operations and Supply Chain
- Human Resource Management
- Experiential Learning (3 credit hours): A study tour (local/international) of at least 45 hours is offered as Experiential Learning to the The experiential learning provides valuable practical insights to the students for gaining real-world exposure to industry practices, networking with professionals, understanding the application of classroom knowledge, and identifying potential areas of improvement.
- Project (3 credit hours each): The project enables the integration and application of knowledge, the development of advanced skills, and advancement in their professional
Project I and Project II are offered 3 credit hours each. The students are provided a choice either to take 2 Projects or one project and one experiential learning.
A 3-credit hour project offers greater flexibility to students. Executives MBA students are often working professionals with busy schedules. A shorter project allows them to allocate their time and effort more efficiently, accommodating their work commitments and personal responsibilities.
Minimum of 16 years of education in any subject/field i.e., engineering, business, medicine, social sciences, arts, and humanities, and others from an HEC-recognized university with 2.00/4.00 CGPA or 50% marks from an annual system. |
A minimum of three (03) years of professional experience in business, government, the not-for-profit sector, or others. |
