PhD Pharmacy (Pharmaceutics)

Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) is an apex degree in the Pakistan as well as all over the world. Pharmaceutics is one of the five major disciplines of Pharmacy. PhD in Pharmaceutics is a research-intensive degree that prepares students for careers in research, academia, industry, or public sector organizations. The program typically takes 3-7 years to complete. It includes 2 semesters’ course work and minimum two years of research work. The students enrolled in research after qualifying the comprehensive exam, will complete their research project under the supervision of a research supervisor.

Admission Criteria

  1. MS/M.Phil. degree in the relevant discipline from a degree awarding institution recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) and Pharmacy Council of Pakistan (PCP)
  2. At least 3.0 (on the scale of 4.0) CGPA in the MS/MPhil degree or 60% aggregate marks if the degree is earned from an annual system
  3. Qualify University admission test with Interview
