Mr. Saleem Akhtar Maghrana has over eight years of experience in academia and media. He is currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree from The Islamia University, Pakistan. He holds an MPhil degree in Communication Studies and MBA degree from The CTLEuro College Limassol, Cyprus. Currently, he serves as a senior lecturer and M.S Program Coordinator at the University of Central Punjab, Pakistan, and has previously held the position of HOD, UCP TV and Production House at the Faculty of Media and Mass Communication UCP. He has also worked in reputed media outlets such as JAAG TV and Midas (Pvt.) Ltd in news and production departments. Mr. Saleem’s research interests revolve around various aspects of communication, including Journalism, Media and Society, Global Communication, Digital Media, News Production, Political Communication, and Media Education. He has published numerous research papers in his area of expertise and supervised various television and print media projects at the M.S and B.S level at FMMC.
