Awareness Session by BOG of PEC

Engr. Jawwad H Gillani, a Member Governing Body of PEC conducted an awareness session for the welfare of young engineers at UCP. He talked about PEC’s paid-on-job training program, capacity-building initiatives on entrepreneurship and freelancing, E-Gateway, Engineering Capstone Expos, Day Trip Learning etc. He highlighted that our students have the privilege of earning degrees in Pakistan that give them access to the global market. They can benefit from various initiatives launched by PEC in collaboration with the industry. Dr Muhammad Rizwan Shad, Dean Faculty of Engineering, added that engineers have a great potential to secure top positions in a multitude of organizations. We engage our engineering students in industrial projects at the same time that have business potential and develop an entrepreneurial mindset in the students. He thanked the resource person, Engr. Jawad H Gillani for this interactive awareness session with the students and faculty.
