Department of Marketing, Operations and Supply Chain hosted a guest speaker session on 21st June 2022.

Mr Talha Farooq, Marketing Executive of Nishat Textile Mills, was the guest speaker. He explained all the processes involved in producing Textile products, including spinning, weaving, processing, bleaching, printing, finishing, folding, cutting, and stitching. Mr Farooq then elaborated on the role of the Marketing Department in the Textile sector, specifically in Nishat Textile Mills, i.e. Order Cycle, Customer Interaction, CDD, Design Studio, PPC and GSC. He also guided the students regarding the skills required to pursue a successful career in the Textile Sector.
