Dr. Shaheer Ellahi Khan from FASS gets published by FEROZSONS (Pvt.) LTD

Dr. Shaheer Ellahi Khan, Faculty of Arts and Social Science has published a book titled “Lifestyle Change; An Anthropological Perspective” with FEROZSONS (Pvt.) LTD. The published book is an academic and a scholarly work of Dr. Khan based on his extensive fieldwork in Punjab, Pakistan. The abovementioned book gives a unique socio-cultural context of diet, exercise and smoking in relation to diabetes, hypertension and cardiovascular diseases. Dr. Shaheer Ellahi Khan has also received the BEST PRESENTATION AWARD for “Anthropological Insights on Diabetes-Cardiovascular Disease Care; a Case Study of Punjab” at International Conference on Non-Communicable Diseases; A Threat to National Development 10th – 11th July, 2021.
