Indoor Plantation initiated by Faculty of Languages and Literature

The Faculty of Languages and Literature commenced Indoor Plantation Campaign, marked by the distribution of snake plants to respected Pro Rector, Deans, Directors, and Faculty members of the English department. This strategic initiative underscores the faculty’s commitment to cultivating a workplace environment that prioritizes health, sustainability, and overall well-being. The distribution of snake plants, renowned for their air-purifying qualities, symbolizes a tangible step toward creating an aesthetically pleasing and environmentally conscious workspace. During the campaign, Mr. Nohaiz Mehmood (FILO-FoLL) and Ms. Fatima Urooj (Program Coordinator-FoLL) along with last year’s students of FoLL featured discussions on the manifold benefits of integrating indoor greenery, with particular emphasis on its potential positive impact on physical and mental health. This initiative is not only symbolic but also represents a deliberate effort to instill a sense of environmental responsibility within the academic community. The Faculty of Languages and Literature views this comprehensive approach as integral to fostering a workplace ethos that prioritizes sustainability and the overall well-being of its academic community.
