Department of Marketing, Operations and Supply Chain Management organized a guest speaker session on Monday, 13th June 2022. The topic of discussion was “Lean Manufacturing in Operations Management”. Mr Waqas Ali (Six Sigma Consultant and Trainer, Senior Supply Chain Manager, Mughal Iron and Steel Industries, Lahore) was invited as guest speaker. The guest speaker session’s purpose was to familiarise students with Lean Philosophy and discuss its application in manufacturing companies in Pakistan. Students enrolled in different sections of Fundamentals of Operations Management with their course instructor Ms Syeda Uzma Tahira, attended the session.
