One-day Workshop on "Good Clinical Practices (GCP)"

The Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences (FOPS) in partnership with Orci Trials (Pvt) Ltd held a one-day workshop on February 22, 2024, centred around the theme of “Good Clinical Practices (GCP)”.

The Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences prioritizes continuous teacher training initiatives to ensure educators remain abreast of the latest pedagogical advancements, thereby enhancing the quality of education imparted to students.

Dr. Steven Bukvic, CEO of ACROSS GlobalTM, and the Pan-Asian Clinical Research Association (PACRA), a renowned international trainer on GCP, facilitated the event. The workshop aimed to foster research and innovation through global cooperation, aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

The workshop’s objective was to familiarize participants with clinical research and provide them with comprehensive insights into its fundamental components. It addressed various topics including protocol drafting, source documentation, and obtaining informed consent, among others.
