Training workshop on Computational Linguistics, Faculty of Languages and Literature, UCP

FoLL conducted a training workshop on Computational Linguistics on January 31, 2023. The guest speaker, Dr Ali Saeed, has a vast experience in the field of National Language Programming( NLP). NLP is a component of AI, which is the ability of a computer program to understand human language as it is spoken and written – referred to as natural language. This workshop helped faculty members of the English department and MS Applied Linguistics students to enhance their computational linguistics knowledge. The audience was provided training on the Phonetic, Morphological, Syntactic, Semantic and Pragmatic stages of NLP in Computational Linguistics.
