University of Central Punjab, Johar Town, Lahore. View mapUCP Health Club in collaboration with Faculty of Pharmacy organized an awareness seminar about Dengue. Patron UCP Health Club, Dr. Irfan Bahsir, facilitated the seminar. He delivered a lecture to raise awareness about lifecycle, prevalence, treatment and prevention of dengue. At the end of the lecture, an activity was conducted to validate the knowledge delivered to the listeners.
A poster competition was also held, in which students displayed posters inscribed with information about preventive measures and how to avoid the risk of dengue in our locality and university. Souvenirs were awarded to the best poster presenters by Dean Faculty of Pharmacy, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Jamshaid and HOD, Faculty of Pharmacy, Prof. Dr. Mahmood Ahmad.
The seminar was concluded with a walk to create awareness about dengue in the university premises, led by Prof. Dr. Muhammad Jamshaid. Dr. Mahmood Ahmad, Dr. Irfan Bashir and other faculty members along with a large number of students.
