The biggest battle of departments in dramatics was held at the University of Central Punjab. The UCP Dramatics Society organized 2^ndintra-university drama competition under the name of Departa.

Performances were based on various social issues to highlight its impact on our society. As we all know that drama is the best form of expression to cater sensitive issues in a non-threatening way. Students used an array of different manners to approach their subjects. Students in UCP are always exhorted to be in their best form and think out of the box which they proved in this event. From backdrop to music to makeup to props and costumes, everything was striking and right on point. Audiences awed in amazement after seeing all these noteworthy performances.

Out of all the departments, the Faculty of Law’s performance was most impactful, which resulted in securing them the first position and title of “Department of the Year”. The dramatics club added more colors to the evening with their beyond amazing musical performance. The playacts engaged everyone and the event ended on a high note. Efforts of students were appreciated and applauded in the best possible manner.
