School of Accounting and Finance is a part of Faculty of Management Studies. The school offers specialized programs in Accounting and Finance at Undergraduate, Graduate, and Postgraduate levels. We provide learning in the areas of Accounting and Finance keeping in view the market requirements and the developments that take place in the world from time to time. Courses are updated according to the changes made in International Financial Reporting Standards, corporate laws, auditing standards, tax and other related laws, regulations and standards.

We emphasize in-depth teaching of each course to prepare our students compete with professional accountants. Students are provided the overview of what is happening in the practical corporate world in the areas of study, so that they get better prepared to face the challenges of practical world. Our courses include information technology component wherever necessary. Courses such as Computerized Accounting and E-Commerce are all about the use of computer technologies in Accounting and Finance. And we also embed the application of

computer software in most of the courses. We also emphasize improving communication skills, both written and verbal. Students are required to write a book review in every course they study, which gives them an opportunity to read books other than their text books. Faculty members of our school are highly cooperative and are available every day to guide students after the regular classes in the student counseling hours. We have a unique blend of teachers from professional and academic backgrounds including chartered accountants, cost and management accountants, ACCAs and PhD degree holders.

School of Accounting and Finance provides a congenial yet challenging study environment for students to prepare them to strive for a bright future. Our school is a wonderful place for those students who love to play with numbers.
