MBA-Business Graduates

UCP-MBA diligently seeks possible opportunities to bolster the programme offerings with strategic collaborations with various industries and other academic institutions around the world, aiming to equip its students with the digital literacy and full-stack competencies required for effective decision making.

The programme aims:

Each candidate of Master in Business Administration (Business) degree is required to complete 33 Cr. Hrs. as per the following detail:

MBA program is designed to prepare:

Entrepreneurs: They can apply their innovative leadership and entrepreneurial acumen to create value for the world. They can also leverage the wide spectrum of learning opportunities and the futuristic knowledge base that the program offers to adapt to a dynamically changing world.
Corporate and Public Sector Leaders: They can prepare themselves for leadership roles in corporate and public sectors by developing a skill set that matches their aptitudes and career goals.
Business Researchers and Academics: They can pursue scholarly research and teaching excellence in the field of business administration by acquiring academic qualifications that reflect the latest insights and best practices. They can also contribute to the development of a futuristic knowledge base that animates instruction and problem-solving. However, to ensure same learning outcomes for the categories of enrolling students mentioned above, different credit requirements have been set in light of the guidelines prepared by Pakistan’s National Curriculum Review Committee of Business Administration at Higher Education Commission. In order to accommodate these differing requirements, programme course work is divided into Graduate Course Work (GCW) and Undergraduate Course Work (UGCW). Students with their undergraduate degrees in non-business education are required to take UGCW courses to get on par with those having business education courses in their undergraduate programmes.

GCW comprises of 33 credits including 6 core courses (18 credits) and 4 elective courses (12 credits) with MBA capstone project (3 credits)

Exact credits requirements for students in different tracks are as follows:

Track-2: 33 Credits of GCW & 36 Credits of UGCW

Admission Criteria

Candidates are eligible for admission if their qualifications fall in any of the following categories:
  1. After 16 years of business education, BBA (Hons.)/ B.Com. (Hons.) or equivalent with minimum 2.00 CGPA.
  2. After 16 years of non-business education, BS (Hons.) with minimum 2.00 CGPA.


After completing MBA Programme, UCP graduates will be able to:
