Program Info

The MPhil Pharmacology is a postgraduate research-based degree aimed at deepening knowledge of drug action, therapeutic mechanisms, and safety profiles. The program equips graduates for careers in academia, clinical research, pharmaceutical industry, and regulatory bodies.

Duration: 2 years (4 semesters)
Objective: To produce highly skilled pharmacologists with expertise in experimental pharmacology, clinical pharmacology, and drug development.
Degree Level: Postgraduate (Research-Based Master’s Degree)

Program Outline

The MPhil Pharmacology curriculum emphasizes both theoretical and practical aspects of pharmacology, including experimental techniques, data interpretation, and scientific writing. Students undergo intensive training in laboratory methods and research project execution.

Eligibility Criteria

(i)	At least 2.00/4.00 CGPA or 50% marks from an annual system in Pharm-D/B-Pharm or equivalent
(ii)	All candidates are required to pass the UCP Admission Test with a 50% score or the GRE/HAT General/equivalent test with a passing score of 50%, followed by an interview by the Graduate Admission Committee
