Dr. Alia Asmat has completed her PhD in Clinical Psychology on March, 2017 from Institute of Clinical Psychology University of Karachi. She is certified practitioner of Hypnosis and NLP from NGH USA.
Further, she has been working with different hospitals since 2006; she worked for three years in Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Science Punjab Medical College Faisalabad from 2006-2009. Afterwards she joined Institute of Clinical Psychology University of Karachi, 2010-2013. Dr. Alia Asmat has completed 52 hour rotation in PNS Shifa Hospitals Karachi in July, 2011. Moreover, she was the Chairperson of Transformation Chapter Faisalabad from January 2017 to December 2018.
As for as her educational carrier is concerned she started her carrier as a lecturer at Department of Psychology Riphah International University Faisalabad Campus from September, 2014. She was promoted as an Assistant professor on April 2017 and she was there till December, 2018. Dr. Alia joined Department of Psychology, University of Central Punjab Lahore on December 2018 as an Assistant Professor. Currently she is working as an Associate Professor in same department.
