Dr. Dilawar Hussain is an HEC Approved PhD Supervisor and has over 10 years of teaching, research and management experience in well reputed colleges and universities of Pakistan. He obtained his PhD degree in Zoology from University of Agriculture, Faisalabad and completed his research trials under the able supervision of world’s top and renowned aquaculture nutritionist, Delbert M Gatlin III from Texas A&M University, TX through International Research Support Initiative Program (IRSIP) of HEC Pakistan. Dr. Hussain’s area of research focuses on aquaculture nutrition, bentonite clays and aflatoxins. He has also expertise in assessing the aquatic toxicology and heavy metal analysis. He has over 15 peer reviewed research publications in well reputed national and international journals. He has also supervised several BS and M.Phil. students. Dr. Hussain won a project of worth 0.5 M under Start-up Research Grant Program (SRGP) of HEC, Pakistan in 2017. He has also won an international travel grant from HEC Pakistan for Oral presentation of research paper in international aquaculture conference. He has organized and attended more than 25 national and international seminars, conferences and workshops.
