Dr. Ghulam Jilany Khan has strong ambitions to serve the academia using all the knowledge and skills in academics via both theoretical and practical approach. He is very much determined to bring novel health care findings and ideas at practical and clinical level to enhance the health and educational standards of Pakistan. Presently he is working as Associate Professor of Pharmacology with core responsibilities to teach the subject of Pharmacology and Clinical Pharmacy to the students of Pharm. D and M. Phil as full time regular faculty member of University of Central Punjab and HEC approved Ph. D supervisor in the field of Medical Sciences. Being proficient in health care marketing, he also teaches a full module of pharmaceutical marketing to outgoing final year batch of Pharm. D. Besides the academics, based on his technical and administrative capabilities, he is also serving as focal person of Pharm. D admission committee; Coordinator of Curricula review committee; core focal person for Pharm. D accreditation and renewal with Pharmacy Council of Pakistan (PCP) and other governing bodies; head incharge of Pharmacology section at FOP, UCP. Dr. Khan is devotedly involved in multiple research projects and has more than 65 scientific publication to his credit. His total impact factors is more than 180 with h-index of 19, i-10 index of 33 and more than 1750 citations/mentions (academia.edu). In addition to that he has also served as the editor of “Journal of international medical research” (impact factor: 1.32), editorial board member of many international journals as well as the Web of Science/Pubmed central database (Publon) verified reviewer of several research journals where he is ranked within top 5 percentile all over the globe in the field of Pharmacology since beginning and among top 1% within year 2019-2021 (Publon/web of science database).
