Prof. Dr. Kafeel Ahmed graduated from University of Engineering and Technology Lahore with distinction. He obtained his Master of Science Degree in Structural Engineering from same University. He completed his PhD in Structural Engineering from UET Lahore with training from University of Leipzig Germany. His area of specialization was bond performance of Ultra High Strength Concrete flexural members. He is a member of America Society of Civil Engineer since 2015 and accredited Professional Engineer by Engineers Australia. He has published a large number of research papers in National and International journals. He presented papers in a number of international conferences. He is a reviewer of a number of international Journals like American Journal of Civil Engineering, Korean Journal of Civil Engineering, Journal of Engineering and Applied Sciences (UET Lahore Journal), Qassim University Research Journal and King Saud University Research Journal (Elsevier Journal). He has twenty-three years of teaching experience at undergraduate and post graduate level with many years of international experience as professor for ABET accredited engineering programs. Dr.Kafeel Ahmed was involved in analysis and field testing of a number of bridges of Pakistan Railways, National Highway Authority and Punjab Highways Department. He is an active advisor to Punjab Public Service Commission. His current areas of research are Bond performance of high performance concrete flexural members, Structural health monitoring and innovative materials of construction.
