Prof. Dr. Fehmida Sultana

Dr. Fehmida Sultana has a PhD in English Literature from Tufts University, USA. She has been associated with the University of Central Punjab (UCP) since 1994. Before joining UCP, she taught at Harvard University, and the University of Tennessee. She has worked on various teaching and administrative positions at the University level in Pakistan and overseas.In 2006, Dr. Fehmida Sultana assumed her responsibilities as the Pro-Rector of the University of Central Punjab. After completing her tenure as Pro-Rector, she was assigned the offices of the Dean of Academics and the Dean of Faculty of Arts & Social Sciences. Currently, she is the Dean of Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences. Her teaching and research interests are in British Romantic Poetry, Colonial and PostColonial literature. She is also the Chairperson and member of several committees and associations. She is also a member of the Punjab Public Service Commission’s Evaluation Committee.
