Prof. Dr. M. Jamshaid has PhD in Pharmaceutics (Pharmacy) from University of Wales, Cardiff, UK. He did his Bachelors and Master degrees in Pharmacy from University of the Punjab. He has been the dean of Faculty of Pharmacy, founder principal of University College of Pharmacy, University of the Punjab. The present curriculum of “Doctor of Pharmacy” was first developed by Dr. Jamshaid which later on was implemented throughout Pakistan by Higher Education Commission and Pharmacy Council of Pakistan. He is a member of Board of Studies and Board of Faculties of various pharmacy institutes. Dr. Jamshaid has acquired a vast and versatile professional experience. He worked as member Drug Registration and Drug Licensing Boards, Ministry of Health, Islamabad, Chief Pharmacist in Teaching and Research Hospital and Production Manager in Pharma Industry. He is an HEC approved PhD supervisor and has supervised many M.Phil. / PhD students and published over 100 research articles in journals of international repute, many of them with good impact factor.
