Samia Tahir is a highly skilled professional with sound industrial and academic knowledge. She obtained her BSc (Hons.) and MSc (Hons.) degree in Food Science and Technology from University of the Punjab. She received merit based scholarship throughout her academics and is also recipient of Scottish Scholarship during MSc (Hons.). She has 2 years of experience in academics in private University as well as worked with Engro Foods Pvt. During her research, she has gained expertise in mycotoxins isolation, detection methods and prevalence of aflatoxin related diseases in population of Lahore. Additionally, she have expertise in other fields such as Food Processing and Food Toxicology. She has participated in numbers of trainings, seminars, summits and workshops related to Total Quality Management, Industrial Halal Certifications and Food Safety and quality management.
