Anam Amin Shami
Associate Lecturer
Ms. Anam Amin is an inquisitive researcher who has obtained her M.Phil and Bachelors in Biotechnology degree from the Institute of Industrial Biotechnology, Government College University, Lahore. Her M.Phil research was focused on unveiling chemical compounds responsible for conferring insect resistance in Bt cotton through NMR based metabolomics. During her research work, she was also involved in different national and international collaborations. She has expertise in chemical profiling of medicinal plants, NMR based metabolomics and multivariate data analysis e.g. Principle component analysis (PCA), Orthogonal partial least squares discriminant analysis (OPLSDA), and heatmaps. She has published two research articles in International Journals like Molecules and Phytomedicine Plus. She has also authored a book chapter.
