Dr. Amjad Farooq

Dr. Amjad Farooq is HEC Tenured Professor of Zoology served public sector Bahauddin Zakariya University, Multan for more than 25 years of educational career at national and international level as Professor and Consultant (Well Care Private Limited). His superannuation was 5^th April 2021then he joined UCP as Professor/ Head of the Department of Zoology in Oct. 2021. After completion his PhD (BZU) and postdoctoral studies from College of Agriculture, University of Missouri, Columbia, United States of America, he has produced 3 PhDs and 35 M.Phil. students in the field of Zoological Sciences. He remained associated with core courses viz cell biology, genetics, physiology and biochemistry as well as special courses like insect physiology, morphology, classification, chemicals and biological control to undergraduate, graduate and postgraduate students including M.Phil. and PhD. He has more than 25 national international publications on his credit. His research core focus is insect ecology.  He is member of Zoological Society of Pakistan and alumni of University of Missouri.
