Dr. Hafiz Rizwan Sharif is working as Associate Professor at University of Central Punjab, Lahore, Pakistan. He received Ph.D. in Food Science and Technology from Jiangnan University, Wuxi, China. He has been awarded with Chinese President Award for acknowledging his outstanding research abilities. He is HEC-approved Ph.D. supervisor and received best faculty member award in 2018. He is keen to keep himself up to date about latest trends in the field of food and nutritional sciences and assist his students to improve their learning and problem-solving abilities. His areas of expertise are encapsulation of bio-active compounds and development of functional foods to improve their physico-chemical stability and tackle life-style related diseases.
Dr. Hafiz Rizwan has published several research and review articles in well reputed international journals with 170 plus cumulative IF, h-index (16), i10-index (22), 2200 plus citations. He is co-author of 4 book chapters published under Elsevier, Springer and UAF-Press. He has presented his research findings in different national and international conferences and seminars. He is also member of Editorial Boards of various journals.
