Dr. Javed Iqbal is a skilled Biotechnologist, Geneticist, Genome data analyst and Forensic Advisor. He received his PhD Biotechnology from PIEAS and conducted part of Ph.D. Research at CGIAR, USDA and IRRI, Philippines. He is a proud member of the team who established Faculty of Life Sciences in 2015. His Research focusses on Quantitative Genetics, Genome Mapping, Association Mapping, DNA Typing and development of DNA markers for Targeted Phenotypes. During foreign trainings, he experienced Next Generation Sequencing and Big data analysis. He has published many Scientific articles in Journals of National and International repute and supervised many graduate dissertations in diverse domains of Biotechnology. He is also member of several Committees and International Associations. He is serving as reviewer and member Editorial board for many Scientific Journals of International repute in the domain of Biotechnology.
