Dr. Mansoor Ahmad Baluch

Engr.Dr.Mansoor Ahmad Baluch has been working as Chief Operating Officer Punjab Higher Education Commission Lahore,earlier Dr. Baluch had served in Prestigious public sector organisations of Government of Punjab. He served as Registrar at University of Engineering and Technology Taxila w e f March 24, 2015 to Jan 03,2022 . He obtained his PhD in Civil Engineering from UET, Taxila Pakistan and worked as Research Fellow in 2018 during his PhD Research phase at Politecnico di Milano university Italy under International Research Supportive Initiative programme of Higher Education Commission Islamabad Pakistan. He also got training on Capacity Building from University of Leicester UK in 2017 and was nominated by Punjab Higher Education Commission. Dr Baluch has over 22 years of teaching,administrative and research experience in various organizations in Pakistan and abroad.

His expertise as Researcher is in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Water resource and Management, Material Science and Engineering, Mathematical Modeling, Graph theory, Statistical Analysis, Principle Component Analysis, Descriptive Analysis, Multi Criteria Decision Making, Water Sampling and chemical Analysis.

He has been elected as Member Governing Body Civil Pakistan Engineering Council by obtaining highest votes all over the Pakistan among Punjab seats of all groups for the term 2021-2024 under PEC Reg No. Civil/19293.

He has also been awarded Quaid e Azaam Gold Medal on meritorious services in the field of Education and Technical Education by Tehreek-e-Istehkam-e- Pakistan Council (Regd) in 2017 at Lahore.
