Dr. Muhammad Amjad has been teaching for more than seven years at various renowned universities of Pakistan before joining UCP in October 2010. He received his PhD from National University of Computer and Emerging Sciences, FAST. He has done his Post-Doctoral studies from Signal and Image Processing Lab (SIPL) from GIST, Gwangju, South Korea in 2015. He has supervised various thesis of MS/MPhil. Two students have already completed their PhDs under his supervision. He is regularly publishing his research in various Journals/Conference of high repute. His major areas of interest include Machine Learning, Fuzzy Logic, Evolutionary Function Optimization, Content Based Image Retrieval, Facial Expressions Recognition, Homogeneous and heterogeneous combination of classifiers.
