Profile Summary

Mr. Faizan Ahmed Khan has completed his MS Degree in Computer Science from COMSATS University Islamabad (CUI), Lahore Campus, Pakistan with a CGPA of 3.43 out of 4.00. It is worth mentioning that the Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan ranks CUI first and second in the computer science & IT category and research productivity, respectively. His MS thesis entitled “Process Discovery and Process Refinement of Enterprise Management System” is in the field of Process Mining, which is an emerging discipline in the field of data sciences. He is currently working as a Lab Instructor at FOIT, UCP. He worked as a Teaching Fellow in the Department of Computer Science, University of Engineering and Technology (UET) Lahore (New Campus), Pakistan. Prior to working as a Teaching Fellow, he worked as a lecturer at the University of Punjab, Pakistan (which is also a highly reputed public sector university in Pakistan). Mr. Faizan’s research interests include Process Mining, Machine Learning & Data Mining, Formal Modeling and Simulation and Data Analysis and Business Process Management. In terms of publications, I got 10 publications, including five HEC Approved impact factor based Journals.
