Ms. Nida Sheikh is an Associate Lecturer at University of Central Punjab, Lahore. She had been a former Visiting Lecturer and Research Associate at University of Management and Technology (UMT). Through her research-oriented demeanor, she managed to secure two gold medals; one in graduation from Institute of Social and Cultural Studies, University of the Punjab and second in post-graduation in International Relations besides two Rector’s Merit awards and one Dean’s Merit Award from UMT. Additionally, she has been honored with a Research award during MPhil, based on her outstanding research publication “Foucauldian Panopticon: A Model for U.S. Cyber Surveillance”.
Throughout her graduation years and succeeding that she had been an individual serving many roles: a private instructor for CSS, Student Counselor at HS Consultants and NGO worker for Inclusive Education. Her research orientation lies in social behaviourism, cyber security, cyber surveillance, hybrid warfare and environmental politics.
