Ms. Rahat Bashir has been associated with different HEC-recognized institutes as a faculty member and as a trainer to their faculty, for the last 12 years. She joined University of Central Punjab as a Principal Lecturer in 2019. Currently, she is a Ph.D. scholar in English, from the University of Gujrat. Earlier, she had been working with University of Management and Technology (UMT), Lahore College for Women University Lahore, and Ali Institute of Education. Besides formal teaching, her interest also lies in teacher training, and she has conducted various customized training across Punjab, which include Aitcheson College, Queen Marry College, and school, US Consulate, Pre-STEP, Directorate of Staff Development Punjab, and UMT in major. Her area of research is socio-linguistics and Critical Discourse Analysis. Further, she has multiple publications at national and international levels. She is M.A in English Literature, English Language Teaching, and MPhil in Applied Linguistics
