Dr. Shahid S. Siddiqi is Professor/HOD Mathematics and Director Conseil for Mathematics Teaching and Research, FOS. He Joined FOS, in March 2017. Before joining the UCP he has been Director General, Abdus Salam School of Mathematical Sciences, GC University Lahore, for two years. He retired from the University of the Punjab Lahore, in 2013, as Chairman Mathematics Department and HEC Tenured Professor. His area of research is Computer Aided Geometric Designing. Dr. Siddiqi has more than 29 years of teaching and research experience. Dr. Siddiqi has recorded his Video Lectures on the Theory of Automata, BSCS program, Virtual University, Pakistan Dr. Siddiqi has produced 8 Ph.D. and 28 MPhil scholars. He is a reviewer of many international journals. He has published 88 research papers in international reputed journals. He has been an invited speaker in national and international conferences, as well.
