Shah Nawaz

Mr. Shah Nawaz has 17 years professional experience as Lecturer, and IT professional. From last 08 years he is teaching core Software Engineering courses at university level. Currently he is pursuing his PhD in Secure Software. He received his MSCS from Riphah International University, Islamabad. Mr. Shah Nawaz’s research interest includes Secure Software, Software Security, Software Security Testing, and Software Design and Architecture. His academia action research strand focuses on multidisciplinary curriculum development, inclusive learning and participatory engagement in a collaborative research environment to support teaching & learning in lifelong sector.

Prior to UCP, he served Lahore Garrison University and University of Gujrat, Lahore sub campus as Lecturer and Head of the Software Engineering Department respectively. Mr. Shah Nawaz served Public Sector Educational Research organization funded by The World Bank for more than 08 years as Assistant Director (IT) and Deputy Director. During his stay with The World Bank, Mr. Shah Nawaz closely worked with various international educational consultants from R&D institutions from Educational Testing System (ETS) USA, Australian Council for Educational Research (ACER) Australia, Cambridge Education, GIZ, and MMP. In parallel to this he has also worked on various educational projects with Danish School of Excellence, Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB), Punjab Curriculum and Textbook Board (PCTB), PMIU-PERSP. His area of expertise includes Teaching, Teaching Training, Technical Content Writing, Curriculum Development, Data Analysis, Report Writing, and Information Dissemination.
