A Clinical Psychologist by passion and teacher/ mentor by profession, having 9 years of experience in teaching, counselling and training at various institutions & organizations at government and private sector of Pakistan. She joined UCP in 2013, since then she has been involved in rendering teaching, counselling, supervising research projects, and administrative services. She also served as the Patron of Debating Society for 3 years.

She attains International Affiliation/Membership of American Psychological Association (APA). To her credit, she holds various skill based certified trainings pertaining to her specialization. She is a professional who understand the dynamics of human cognitive and behavioral psychology and has special interests in dealing with clinical and subclinical mental disorders across diverse demographics.

She has participated in number of research projects, workshops and national and international conferences. Her areas of research interest include Depression, anxiety, Stigma and Discrimination, In-Depth Interviews, intervention and outcome studies, health and geriatric psychology, parenting and its psychological implication on children. She often appears on national/international TV channels and radios and talks on psychosocial issues prevailing in the culture.

Syeda Ayesha received her MS degree in Clinical & Counseling Psychology from Beaconhouse National University with ‘Distinction’.   She was awarded with Gold Medal in MSc Clinical Psychology and graduated as the Valedictorian of her batch. She demonstrated high academic and professional commitment due to which she remained on dean’s honor list and was awarded with Merit scholarship for 3 consecutive years.

In addition to academics, her competitive spirit, leadership, collaborative and communication skills are led by her athletic and declamation debating achievements. She won team trophy for Kinnaird College and Punjab swimming championship for two consecutive years.
