Ms. Uzma Ilyas has worked as Head of Psychology department, Lahore Garrison University, DHA before joining UCP in 2017. She served as visiting faculty at esteemed institutions in Pakistan. She has regularly delivered lectures and conducted workshops at Center for Clinical Psychology, Punjab University; Clinical Psychology Unit at GCU; National University of Modern Languages, Islamabad, Forman Christian College University, Lahore and Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Ms. Ilyas has also served as Director Treatment at Drug Rehabilitation Centre: Willing Ways. She served as Senior Psychologist at SOS Children’s Village, Lahore and played pivot role in SOS Director Training across Pakistan. Research interests: Binge watching, Marginalized population, Executive functioning, Trauma Management, Women’s Health, 3rd Wave Psychotherapies and Cultural Adaptation, Dialectical Behavior Therapy Ms. Uzma Ilyas, has been working at UCP since 2017 and she is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Psychology. Moreover, currently team member representing department in QEC as well. She conducts Summer Internship for Bachelors students from last three years.
