Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering - B.Sc. (ME)

The Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) has accredited Mechanical Engineering program at UCP has been accredited by the Pakistan Engineering Council up to Batch F013. The next accreditation visit by PEC for Batch 2014 and onwards is expected soon. Mechanical Engineering program was launched in 2011 after getting an approval from the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) with the aim to produce quality Mechanical Engineering graduates who can:

  • Apply Mechanical Engineering knowledge and skills of the engineering design, manufacturing and materials of a broad range in the industries.
  • Practice effective communication and management skills to work in multidisciplinary teams.
  • Implement their engineering expertise nationally and globally in a conscientious, competent and ethical manner.

Housing standardized laboratories, a purpose built block dedicated to Mechanical Engineering Department is fully functional. A new 3-storey building consisting of Fabrication and Projects lab, Metrology lab & Woodworking shop has been added to Mechanical Engineering facilities. Qualified and dedicated faculty members are teaching four batches of B.Sc. Mechanical Engineering with full zeal and commitment.
